Stuart Hanson B Mus (Hons), FMCA, PPC
Managing Partner & Mediator
Stuart trained with the Society of Mediators in workplace, civil and commercial mediation. He is a member of the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), The Society of Mediators (SOM) and Resolution. Stuart works both in the UK and abroad, but also extensively online. He has broad legal experience, as he was previously a magistrate at the courts in Leeds. In 2018 Stuart was presented with a National Mediation Award and in 2022 was invited to a judge for the awards. For a number of years, Stuart was a director at The College of Mediators.
Serena Davis LLB, FMCT
Mediator
Serena trained and practised as a commercial litigation solicitor in the south of England. She qualified as a mediator in 2008 and since then has developed a specialty in Workplace & Employment Mediation. Serena is passionate about issues relating to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Serena is also a reserve Commander in the Royal Navy. In addition to this, she is a Panel Mediator for the Civil Mediation Council, a member of The College of Mediators and the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
Fran Bishop LLB, PGDL, FMCT
Mediator
Fran graduated from the University of Leeds in law qualifying as a solicitor in 1996. She worked in-house and in private practice, specialising in commercial and non-contentious employment law. She brings expertise and practical workplace experience to her mediations. Fran recently decided to retrain as a mediator. In her own time, she devotes time to a prison charity, a climate change lobby group and is a mum to three teenagers and two collies.
Anthony Munday
Mediator
Anthony is an ACAS accredited workplace mediator. He is also registered with the Civil Mediation Council as a workplace mediator. He’s the author of “The Essential Heart of a Leader”. Anthony was a senior leader in a large public service organisation. He can empathise with the challenges faced by people in their workplace. He is a Trauma Risk Management (TRIM) Trainer. A key area of focus for Anthony is mediating traumatised people who have experienced workplace conflict over several years.
Dorian Ramirez Sosa PhD
Office & Finance Manager
Dorian initially studied in his home country of Mexico and later graduated with a PhD from the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Leeds. His research focused on the development of alternative biological routes for the conversion of waste-to-energy. Dorian’s scientific and analytical approaches are applied in his managing of the company’s office and finances. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and is supporting the business in its development in Spain.
Ferdinard Chimere BA
Administrator
Ferdinard is the voice of Direct Mediation Services, as he handles all the calls coming into the business. He graduated from University of Nigeria Nsukka with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. Previously, he was a client service and quality assurance specialist for an outsourcing company. In his free time, Ferdinard loves football, music and literature. If you have heard him speak, you won’t be surprised that he is also a voice-over artist!
